MineAI

MineAI is a cutting-edge mineral intelligence platform transforming mining data analysis. By parsing technical reports and news releases, it identifies risks and opportunities, and creates rich benchmarking datasets for costs and material properties. MineAI enables informed decision-making for mining companies, investors, and suppliers, ultimately driving efficiency, uncovering value in mineral projects, and generating high-quality leads.

The Problem

Millions of pages of valuable public disclosures on mining projects remain underutilized. These documents, spanning a wide range of commodities, hold critical insights that, if properly analyzed, could provide a far more complete and actionable picture of mineral properties.

  • Inefficient capital allocation
  • Inefficient lead generation for suppliers
  • Costly benchmarking datasets

MineAI’s Modules

Public Disclosures

MineAI collects technical reports and press releases from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX, TSXV), Australian Securities Exchange (ASX), New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), and the London Stock Exchange. Data is georeferenced and tagged to the relevant entities. These documents are categorized and subsequently searchable and filterable.

Risks & Opportunities

Risks and opportunities are extracted from technical reports. MineAI’s pipeline goes further than just reading the ‘Risks and Opportunities’ section. Risk severity for categories such as acid mine drainage, pit wall failure, or subsidence are calculated based on ‘risks factors’ developed in tandem with subject domain experts.

Qualified Persons

Qualified (Competent) Persons are extracted from technical reports. A work history is maintained for each qualified person, including their role, employer, and designations.

Validation

Validation is an internal module Minebright uses to validate the AI-parsed content. Database accuracy is paramount so all data in MineAI undergoes a rigorous validation process that includes human-in-the-loop validation and cross-validation by experts.
