CrewCarry is a web-based travel management application that handles crew rostering and the entire travel booking process. By combining rosters and travel, CrewCarry eliminates the need for maintaining an Excel roster, as the roster will automatically update to reflect changes to your travels.

CrewCarry forward daily coverage grid: operator, loader, mechanic, geologist and supervisor rows across twelve days, each day marked no gap, a gap of one or two, or a gap of three or more, with the rule gap = max(0, required − on site) and a panel showing the coverage impact at approval (OK, warning or critical) and the on-site headcount if the request is approved.

One system replaces the Excel roster and the email chain behind every trip. A travel change updates the roster, the roster generates the manifest, and approvals and itineraries sit in the same record. At West African Resources in Burkina Faso, CrewCarry reduced administrative effort by 40%.

CrewCarry’s complex rostering capabilities allow administrators and managers to have a real-time view on unpaid R&R liabilities and upcoming gaps in coverage.

Integration with travel means that manifests are automatically generated. Rosters update to reflect changes in travel plans.

Travel changes on WhatsApp

Travellers ask for a date or destination change on WhatsApp, and CrewCarry’s agent raises the change request. The manager approves it, then travel books the seat.

Camps and accommodation

Camp rooms are assigned from a top-view plan of each camp, with peak concurrent occupancy tracked per room. An assignment that would put a room over capacity is refused.

CrewCarry’s People module simplifies workforce management. Designed for flexibility, it lets organizations track and report on sustainability metrics. The module also handles hierarchical and dynamic organizational setups, ensuring alignment with company structures. Granular access controls let administrators set exactly what each user can see and change.
