Minebright builds custom, web-based software for the mining industry, deployable on-premises or in the cloud. The same team writes the code and specifies the mining logic, so the assumptions behind a call factor, a stockpile balance or a roster rule are settled before development starts.

Deployment is your decision. Applications run on your own servers or in your cloud tenancy, third-party systems connect over an API or directly to the database, and Minebright is certified to ISO 27001:2022. If the relationship ends, your data is still somewhere you can reach it.

Terrabright, the pseudoflow pit optimiser we built for exploration teams, was validated blind against a Whittle Lerchs-Grossman baseline and came within 10% on all three measures: total cash flow, contained metal and total material.

How it works

Three stages, in this order, on every build. The point of publishing them is that you know what the engagement feels like before you commit to a call.

  1. Scope against the workflow

    We sit with the people who run the process today and write down what the system has to produce: the reports, the approvals, the audit trail, and who signs what. That document is the scope.

  2. Build on your own data

    Development runs against a copy of your data rather than sample records, so the edge cases in your grades, your shift patterns and your cost centres surface during the build instead of after go-live.

  3. Deploy where you want it

    The application ships to your servers or your cloud tenancy. You keep API and direct database access to your own data, and we train the people who will run it day to day.

Conceptual Pit Optimizations

Minebright developed a pit optimization software based on the pseudoflow algorithm. The concept was to allow users to ‘draw’ their pre-block-model resource in 3D. The software then discretizes the pseudo-wireframe, and calculates the ultimate pit shell based on the economic inputs provided.
